I can tell you that I am a teacher going into my 16th year already!! Yikes! Before that, I worked at Canada
Mortgage and Housing for ten years. Double Yikes!! That gives you a hint as to how old I am:) I have
four sisters and one brother. I also have four cats. More about them later. I love all animals but
I am not permitting myself to look at anymore Animal Shelter sites as 4 is my limit! ! I love learning how to do new
things like this - building websites.! It's very time consuming but you really feel a sense of accomplishment
when you master new skills!
Well, it's only August but I can hear those
school bells ringing already!
I have taught all of the primary and kindergarten grades and split grades. The children can be a lot of fun! They're
honest and shoot from the hip. For example, one day a little girl said to me, "your hair is nice. You just need
to brush it some." I love hearing them share things about life in general and they all want to know about me too.
" Why don't you have any kids?" "Wow Miss, you are way older than my mom." "You kind of remind me
of my grandmother!" "How come you are divorced Miss?" The questions are unending and I try to answer all of them
but there are times when I'm just plain tongue-tied!Yes, they sure
are eager beavers!

We have a new baby in the family, Angelina,
daughter of my neice Andrea. Her grandmother can't stop talking about her!
Also, I am moving to a new school in September. Actually,
I split my day into two schools and I love it!
My sister Sharon just recently came back from China
where she spent three and a half weeks teaching English as a second language. I could be wrong but I think they are
still speaking Chinese!
